Tartu Youth Choir was founded in 1983 by Riho Leppoja, who was the chief conductor until 2019. Markus Leppoja has conducted the choir since 2010 and became the chief conductor in 2019. Kadri Leppoja has conducted the choir since 1996. In 2001, Viviane Kallaste joined as a teacher of vocal culture. The choir has given concerts in various different countries, been to every Estonian Song Celebration and participated in an international competition almost every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our aim is to give the singers a chance for musical development in a friendly atmosphere and to provide audiences with beautiful and diverse listening experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Tartu Noortekoori, tollal Tartu Koolinoorte Segakoori nime all, asutas 1983. aastal Riho Leppoja, kes pidas koori peadirigendi ametit 2019. aastani. Markus Leppoja asus kooris dirigendina t\u00f6\u00f6le 2010. aastast ning alates 2019. aastast on ta koori peadirigent.
